The Board of Auditors exercises accounting control over the acts of the Park Authority in accordance with the State accounting rules and on the basis of the accounting regulations of the Park Authority, approved by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in agreement with the Ministry of Environment and Protection of Land and Sea.

It is appointed by a decree of the Minister of Economy and Finance and consists of three members chosen from officials of the State General Accounting Office or from among those on the list of Official Auditors.

The members are appointed: two by the Minister of Economy and Finance, one of them as Chairman, and the third in agreement by the Regions concerned.
